In an Alternate Universe

In an alternate universe, Gloria and Mario are not a couple. Gloria works in a broadcasting company and she is assigned for news but now assigned for entertainment. She hates this field because the work she was passionate about was always for news. But she had no choice.

Gloria's a kind of person who has principles and always obey the rule, and also the code for their field.

She is always not a fan of insult comedy. Besides of not getting the humor of it, it is included in the Broadcast Code of the Philippines, Article 28, Section 2, but her boss, Pablo was obssessed with it. Pablo believes that the show has high ratings because the audience has that form of entertainment. That's why Mario, the comedian, obeyed her boss always.

Mario and Gloria had a talk for the first time for her issue, Mario followed her suggestion. That's the time that the show got low ratings. Pablo scolded the two.

It is unpredictable where will this kind of conflict will settle, it's not just about the leads but the society.

Scribbles and Poesies

There would always be a situation when you just  randomly thought of combining beautiful words and make it into a meaningful piece. For those who listen but can't be heard. Whisper   When I try to utter You'll ignore and look away When you have something to share I'm willing to lend my ears and stay Do I deserve to be heard? A Woman's Echo

They say that when you meet someone worth everything, your heart beats fast, your knees go weak, and you tremble. When I first met him, I felt those signs. Hopeless romantics, including myself, have always imagined the slow-motion effect of a first encounter when you meet your "worth the trouble" (a reference to the book I read last night). That is what I have always dreamed of, just like the women in romance books. He lives next to our house, a new tenant of Mrs. Jenkins. He is timid, mysterious, and uncanny—a man whom I thought I would never dare to get close to because I knew we would not even have a conversation from the start. It was like two similar personalities that would either clash or miss. I am sure it was the latter. On a sunny afternoon, while I was sneaking chocolate from our family's store, I laid my eyes on him as he did the same on me. At that exact moment, I felt my heart beat the loudest as I stumbled while trying to escape, and he asked for a cigarett
